Welcome To My Mind

Hi i am just a person that love books, Hannibal series .and movies.

A few days ago I watched the entire first season of OFMD

A few days ago I saw the series Our Flag Means Death, and I absolutely loved it! It’s a relationship that forms well in this romantic comedy, a romance born from understanding and being curious about each other, truly caring about each other.

I read on a blog that Blackbear represented asexuality and I really don’t think so. It’s not like that, what his friend who murdered Karl the seagull said, they had intimate encounters, he could have said that to annoy Stede, but I don’t think it’s entirely a lie.

Pirates had no problem with such things.

What it seems is that Edward Teach (Blackbeard) had never been in love, until he met Stede, that’s why so much pain for his broken heart, which is always painful, but more traumatic when it’s the first time.

Having seen Hannibal and parts of Good Omens, I think that gay men, bisexual men, etc in fiction should be careful with those blonde men who like the arts, good food, speak softly, are sweet, and wink at them with kindness, for that with their sweetness they will crush their hearts and turn them into a disaster.

Yes, Hannibal before framing Will for his own crimes, he had been gentle and kind to him, we as spectators were what saw the whole picture.

Hi Mr Gaiman. I wanted to ask a very mundane question, how do you physically write /what do you write with?

Right now my PC is broken and I wrote a really good first chapter (without saving, rookie mistake I know, my own silly fault) and it was deleted. It really disheartened me and my story is mostly just scribbles on about 20 scraps of a4 paper now. I have Dyspraxia so writing coherent sentence structures is a struggle and using Word or something like that really helps. I hate to sound like the gen Z I am but how did you keep all your ideas together and write them so well before stuff like word was commonplace?

I’d handwrite first drafts, then type out the next draft single-spaced on scrap paper (so I couldn’t submit it and also to save money on paper), fix that draft up and then type it out again, this time double-spaced on good paper.

Then I went onto computers and I learned both to save everything AND to always assume the computer would be struck by lightning or something. I once had to reconstruct the second half of a novel from inspecting the drive manually with Norton Utilities and chunks of novel I’d emailed to friends…

very painful to me personally that “film bro” is becoming synonymous with someone who watches movies that are not marvel or disney products or blockbusters. that “film bro” is becoming synonymous with someone who watches foreign film. tik tok is tik tok but this sentiment and refusal to interact with art outside of the popular, outside of your comfort zone, outside of what’s english… it’s just crazy…

No, “film Bros” are those pretentious people who believe they are the big thing to see long, slow, disgraceful and disease movies. I am from a Latin American country, a marvel movie or American comedy would be a foreign film for me.

i think the ending was perfect because it satisfied hannigram shippers and non-hannigram shippers (like my self). Will embraced hannibal and admitted that he loved him and wanted to be with him but also in one last heroic act he sacrificed him and hannibal for the greater good. Because as much as i love watching hannigram(even tho i don't ship i don't like dark will so it was a great way for him to embrace hannibal but keep some of the goodness in him i loved from s1. satisfying ending right !?:)

Preaching to the choir.

(I don’t think you have to prioritize dark! Will to ship Hannigram. Like Hannibal, I like all aspects of Will, including his less savory aspects, but when it comes to shipping, to me it’s so painfully obvious that Hannibal loves Will so very much because of his goodness, that you could never have dark! Will and have Hannigram. Will isn’t dark! Will and light! Will, either/or. Will is Will, a bundle of contradictions and emotions and intelligence and cunning and beauty and purity and kindness and gentleness and savagery. He’s more of a lump than a sum, heh.)

Beautiful!
